Our mission is to showcase black talent and empower the black community with tech.
At our core Six Zeros provides a network for Black software engineers to share ideas, learn and collaborate. Either by collaborating on a virtual space or in our HQ in London, Six Zeros nurtures black talent to help the community find opportunities and equip them with the resources to succeed in the often hard to navigate tech space.
Our community often does not have visibility of black engineers, we are attempting to make a change. We hope that our endeavours will result in move inclusivity in emerging technologies such as AI and the Metaverse.
We provide a space for new and old engineers alike to share information and have a familiar environment to flurish, with our weekly catch ups we get a glimpse of project people are working on, provide a place to offer support and help on software solutions aswel as career questions.
For black software engineers to collaborate.
From experience and conversations with other black software engineers, Founder Kevin Mason understands that IT teams are often not diverse enough. Six Zeros is a network of IT professionals, providing a space for inclusion, mentorship and leadership. At all levels it is necceesary to feel supported and have a space to express yourself. We provide mentorship and tutoring creating strong relationships and help nurture the future tech leaders.
We encourage creativity and exploration, thats why we host mobbing sessions, coding challenges and games night. The network is not resricted to just software engineers, we are open to all who are curious and want to gain an insight into the profession.
Integration with business
As a network we target black engineers for a specific purpose of bringing awareness and helping bridge the gap with the visibility and awareness of black engineers.
We help businesses build diverse products and services with our skills, knowledge and experience. Offering a range of services the Six Zeros network is able to provide an exceptional service that is inclusive and diverse.
In collaboration with both small businesses and global corporations, We have been able to showcase our capabilities and provide professional solutions that has diversity built in.
